You might want to take the time to write a few notes to yourself, or spend time pondering the following questions:
- Where in your life do you see yourself acting in an extreme way?
- What is extreme in your reactions/behavior/experience?
- How would the other extreme look like? (For example – if you’re very angry – how would it be to be very relaxed? If you’re very afraid – how would it feel to be very confident, if you are too mellow – how would it be to be more assertive? And so forth…)
- Can you imagine what a balanced state would be? (A state that does not go to one extreme or the other)
- How would your life look if these territories would be more balanced?
- What can bring you into balance in the territories/behaviors/habits mentioned?
