A partial, yet impressive, solar eclipse is due on October 25th.
The eclipse will occur exactly above the Russian federation and will be visible mainly from north-east Europe, where almost all of the Sun will be covered by the Moon’s shadow. In Germany, Spain, the UK, and Turkey (as well as in other countries in that area) a certain degree of the eclipse will be seen.
The eclipse will start at 8:58 UTC, and will end 13:02 UTC
and its peak will be at 11:00 UTC.
DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN!
Even during eclipse time, it is strictly forbidden and can cause permanent loss of eyesight. Tomorrow, at our live event we will give you some ideas about how to view the eclipse safely.
What is a Solar Eclipse?
Solar and Lunar Eclipses occur two times a year, close to each other, in known times that are called “the eclipse season”. Twice a year there is a perfect alignment between the Sun, the Moon and Earth.
During that time, on the day of the new moon, as the Moon and the Sun conjunct – we’ll see the Moon covering the Sun – this will be the Solar Eclipse.
And exactly two weeks before or after the Solar Eclipse, on a full moon night, the earth is exactly between the Sun and the Moon and Earth’s shadows covers the moon and creates a Lunar Eclipse.
The current Eclipse Season started on October 25th with a partial, yet impressive, Solar Eclipse and will end with a great Total Lunar Eclipse that will take place on the night between November 7th and 8th.
Astrologically Speaking…
The Solar Eclipse is the event of the two main and opposing astrological symbols colliding. Two opposite worlds conjunct.
The Moon, that represents the imagination, intuition, childhood, past, our unaware parts, femininity and much more – is covering the Sun – which represents our logic, aims, the adult part of our being and our masculine part and our consciousness.
It can be perfectly understood why people were afraid of this mysterious disappearance of the Sun in ancient times – being in a moment where logic and rules are not there!
But if we’re are in a personal-development process, and up for using the celestial events for advancing our lives – we can see the bright side of this most special event –
An event in which imagination over-comes logic for a while,
Our soft and feminine side taking control over our masculine ambition,
And a time that the child inside of us overshadows the adult…
This specific eclipse is a time for us to meditate upon closure of past-lives issues and this life’s early childhood wounds. This is also a time to remember all the talents we have and all we have achieved, and connect to what we have already collected in the wonderful journey of our lives, and make these precious moments known to us and available for the future.
