Venus Aligns with Pluto – Emotional Metamorphosis

Every celestial alignment is unique – and it gives us not just a beautiful sight if it can be seen in the sky, but also a special mixture of the two planets’ frequencies, that create a brand new combination, with brand new opportunities for us.

In the case of Venus, every alignment she creates opens for us a new doorway to do with emotions, feelings, femininity and love.

This week Venus creates a perfect alignment with Pluto. This alignment between the conduit of Feelings, and the Master of Metamorphosis, allows us to complete this month’s very unique internal processes, and to release once and for all, emotional patterns that it is time for us to grow out of.

The alignment cannot be seen in the skies due to the fact that Pluto is too far from Earth to be seen with the naked eye. But you can see Venus at dawn, if you wake up early enough and look at the east.

The combination that Venus, the Goddess of Feelings, Love and Harmony, and Pluto (Hades) – the Roman god of the Underworld and the usher to the greatest transformation,  opens a special doorway that has to do with a metamorphosis in our emotional patterns. The planets now create the doorway – and it is up to us to choose if we want to pass through or not.

The god Pluto has two residences. One in the Underworld and the other on Mount Olympus, and at will he can swiftly change his location, rising from the Kingdom of the Dead to take his seat as one of the 3 important leaders of the Pantheon.

As Pluto has the two residences, so does the alignment this week have two sides to it.

The lower side of this celestial combination can bring forth lower feelings, fears and even obsessions – after all Pluto IS the Lord of the Underworld – which is not the nicest place to be in…

But the higher side of this unique opportunity allows us to change direction quickly, and instead of dwelling in the lower emotions, to use this time for an emotional metamorphosis. The gateway which the alignment between Pluto and Venus open before us these days, can help us make the needed changes from within, changes that create a new sustainable base, from which we can change old paradigms, open some cages and even overcome impulses to do with love and relationships – and replace them with more enlightened and higher perceptions that allow us to see love itself in a different light.

For the ladies amongst us – metamorphosis can also be made in this time concerning  the way we perceive ourselves as women, the way we perceive our own femininity and beauty – and the way we perceive other women and beauty in general.

This unique combination might even allow us to get rid of lower emotions that restrain us and replace them with higher feelings that open our hearts and possibilities.

With this unique alignment of Venus, I offer you a process that “appeared” while giving a workshop in Berlin back in 2018, just at the annual Pluto-Venus alignment. Allow yourself find a quiet place, and take the time to undergo this process, represented as a series of questions designed for emotional metamorphosis and the release of old and unwanted emotional patterns.

  1. Try to detect an emotional pattern that you think it would be a good time to release…
  2. Try to complete this sentence, concerning this emotional pattern: I can see that one of my emotional patterns is to … whenever I …
  3. Describe to yourself this behavioral pattern: what do you feel, what do you do when this emotional pattern is at play.
  4. Try to detect the first time this emotional pattern appeared: I have been doing it since the age of … / I have been doing it since … happened.
  5. Did you see other people in your life, maybe in the past, maybe your parents, act in that same fashion?
  6. What are the disadvantages / unfortunate sides of this emotional pattern / emotional reaction / behavior?
  7. What are the benefits of this behavior? What does it allow me? What do I get from it?
  8. How can you gain the same benefits in a different way? (without the emotional behavior and its disadvantages)
  9. If you had the amount of energy “spent” on the emotional reaction and its consequences, freed up for other uses – what will you do with this energy?
  10. Say: I wish I could respond in a healthier fashion when … happens. The way I would want to react is…
  11. Say to yourself or write down several other ideas of how to react in a healthy way in similar situations.
  12. Imagine yourself reacting differently. Take the time to really visualize yourself in a situation that might set the emotional pattern, and instead – acting differently.
  13. Take a few minutes of quiet time with yourself… you can draw, or write, or move…
