These days two planets are creating a rare celestial alignment. These two are Saturn and Pluto, two slow moving planets that align only every 36 years (or so), and this happens now ! But not only that – this alignment is taking place in proximity to the fixed star Vega, which makes the cosmic gateway of these days even more powerful!
Saturn is the furthest planet in our solar system that we can see with our naked eye. Saturn is also known as the “Lord of Karma” and it symbolizes life’s challenges and lessons. And yet – Saturn is not at all “bad”! It marks the places where we need to work hard, develop and commit.
This is how my Saturn card looks like, hinting that it needs time, patience, and the right “password” to open Saturn’s gate.
Pluto is a dwarf planet (sorry Pluto, you are amazing but due to your small size the scientists do not recognize you as a planet. Astrologers do.). It is not seen with the naked eye. But if you see Saturn in the sky – just know that Pluto is just behind it ! This is what it means when the two are in alignment.
Pluto was known for a long while as marking the edge of our solar system. These days we know that there are many more dwarf planets and other celestial bodies beyond Pluto, but it is still considered “the edge of the unknown” and it talks about transformation. Metamorphosis.
Saturn and Pluto align every 36 years. Each time it happens in a different area in the skies. Last time the two aligned was in 1983. At that time Jupiter and Uranus were also aligned and in that year we saw many technological advancements as the “birth” of the internet (!!), and the first cellular phone and cellular network going live (!!!). This was also the year Microsoft started and Pioneer 10 was the first man-made object lodged out of our solar system. These huge technological leaps went hand in hand with world-crises as extreme weather and the famine in Ethiopia.
The Saturn-Pluto that proceed that was in 1947-48, with extreme weather and violence on one hand, and on the other hand it was the year the World Health Organization was established by the United Nations. This was also the year Israel got its Independence as the British Mandate over Palestine was removed.
The Saturn-Pluto alignment that proceeded that was at 1914 – the beginning of World War 1.
What will the current Saturn-Pluto alignment will bring this time, this we shall see. It is also up to us, humans, how we take on this unique celestial gateway. Every alignment was accompanied by a whole different chart that was part of what was unfolding at that time. And the current one is the first in hundreds of years to occur in alignment to Vega.
Vega is a very special star. As you might know I am starting now to add the fixed stars into the charts I do. As a star, Vega, naturally, is very distant to us. It is actually 25 light years away from our solar system. And although all stars are unique – Vega is special indeed.
Vega is marks the path our whole solar system is heading towards. It marks the future! (This is a really summed-up version of what Vega stands for. There is a whole explanation that goes with it, but it will be given at another time).
The sentence that is spelled from this celestial alignment of these days is that this is a time to overcome our challenges, and make the needed transformations in order to face the future.
Not only that the celestial bodies point out what we need to be doing these days, they also give us the celestial backwind to go with this mission forward. It is a very unique time in which overcoming obstacles, making changes and taking a huge step towards the FUTURE is possible.
And here is an important tip about HOW IT CAN BE DONE. And it comes from the wisdom of Vega, which FACES THE FUTURE. Not the past. And the hint about how to overcome challenges these days is not to look at the challenges and obstacle at all! Don’t approach things from the direction of Saturn! Approach things by looking at Vega. At the future. At where you are heading towards.
Another clue in this celestial alignment is that Vega’s power is tremendously stronger than the power of Saturn, or Pluto. Vega is a S T A R , whilst the two others are planets. So the backwind that comes when connecting to the future (to where you want to be heading, to the higher cause) is much stronger these days than facing the problems, or trying to focus on what kind of transformation needs to be done.
