Once a year the heavenly couple, Venus and Mars, meets in the skies, when the two create a perfect alignment. This meeting takes this week.

Venus and Mars are the two closest planets to Earth. Venus – bright and beautiful – from the side that is closer to the Sun, and Mars – red and cold – from the other side. Both are planets visible to the naked eye.

Venus represents the feminine gender, and Mars – the masculine.

Venus – emotions, and Mars – action.

Venus – harmony and grace, Mars – moving forward no matter the cost.

Mythological Venus and Mars were an interesting couple. Venus is the Goddess of Beauty and Love, and Mars – the God of War. The two opposites could not resist each other and were magnetized by a power bigger then both of them.

The annual “marriage” of Venus and Mars, as the two align in the sky, is a wonderful cosmic doorway for love, as the masculine and feminine can find each other and unite. This is a time for new relationships to start, and for old ones to have harmony in them, or a clean slate if needed.

Regardless of relationships – this is also a time in which we can be full of inspiration and be very creative, as practicality and passion unite in the sky and in our lives.
