This week a special and gentle cosmic gateway opens, as Venus, planet of love and harmony, aligns with Neptune, planet of spirituality and the arts.

Venus is a beautiful bright planet, easily spotted in the sky (these days before dawn). It holds the essence of the Roman Goddess of love, known in Greece as Aphrodite. Venus is connected to our feeling-life, to the feminine gender and to beauty.

Neptune – in the other hand – is a very distant planet, and  not visible at all to the naked eye. The Roman god of the Seas, Neptune (Poseidon in Greek), was known for his ruthless temper, raising the waves to a storm, fighting against the ships that dared cross his waters. Neptune is  about  pure intuition and the raw drive that urges us to unite with the unseen worlds, leaving our logic far behind.

And yet, the two, Venus and Neptune, have also much in common, and resonate on the same frequency.

They are both connected to nature as it meant to be, to our emotional and feeling life, to arts and inspiration.

The alignment between these two “watery” planets, allows us to move up a notch in our feeling life. It allows us to rise above our own personal emotions that come and go as the tides of the sea according to life’s occurrences, and get connected to a higher range of feelings, which are more constant and permanent, coming from within us, regardless of a good or bad day… This range of higher feelings includes spiritual and religious feelings of awe, gratitude and unconditional love. And this is a gateway for inspiration and the ability to spend time with the unseen worlds.
